14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
At Chess Next Move, we want you to be completely satisfied with your Premium subscription. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Eligibility for Refund
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- Your refund request is made within 14 days of the original purchase date
- You have not used any Premium features during the subscription period
- This is your first refund request for Chess Next Move Premium
What Constitutes "Use" of Premium Features
Premium features are considered "used" if you have:
- Taken the ELO Rating Test
- Analyzed a full game using PGN import
- Created a custom puzzle
- Set up a board from FEN or screenshot
- Used Anti-Ban Human Mode
- Copied FEN or PGN from the calculator
- Used the Next Move Calculator above ELO 1000
Simply logging into your account or viewing your subscription status does not constitute use of Premium features.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Request made after 14 days from the purchase date
- Premium features have been used during the subscription period
- Multiple refund requests (one refund per customer)
- Account was terminated due to violation of Terms of Service
- Subscription was purchased using promotional codes or discounts (unless required by law)
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:

- Include your account email address
- Provide the date of purchase
- State the reason for your refund request
Processing Time
Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Once approved:
- Credit/Debit Card payments (Stripe): Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank
Subscription Cancellation
If you do not qualify for a refund but wish to cancel your subscription:
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings
- Your Premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- Partial refunds for unused time are not provided for cancelled subscriptions
App Store Purchases
If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
- Refund requests must be made directly through Apple or Google
- We cannot process refunds for purchases made through app stores
- Apple App Store: Request a refund from Apple
- Google Play Store: Request a refund from Google
European Union Residents
If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. However, by using Premium features, you acknowledge that you have requested the service to begin immediately and you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
